Whether you are considering applying to LMU, are making your final college decision, or have already been accepted and want to learn more about what to expect, join us on the bluff for a guided campus tour.

A signature LMU campus visit experience includes a student-led campus tour and an informational Q&A session with a member of the admission staff. Campus tours and individual counseling appointments are offered throughout the year, plus several fun and informative events for prospective freshman and transfer students and their families.

We look forward to seeing you!

Campus Tours

Tours depart from the Welcome Center in the Charles Von der Ahe building M-F at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays during the academic year. There are some restrictions and exceptions, so make sure to check the tour calendar to confirm tour times on the day you plan to visit. Learn more and sign up for a campus tour.

Information Sessions

Information sessions led by a member of the admission staff are offered weekdays at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., preceding the campus tours. Information sessions are meant to complement the tour by providing additional information on the university and its admission process. The info session and campus tour combined will last approximately two hours.

Saturday Visits

A single campus tour is offered on Saturdays during the academic year, preceded by the information session. Visits begin at 11 a.m. in the Welcome Center. There are no Saturday tours during the summer.

Sign up online or contact Alice Johnson at 310.338.7602 or to schedule a tour. Groups of 10 or more are asked to review our information on Group Visits and request to schedule a tour online.

Admission Appointments

Individual appointments with admission counselors are offered throughout the year and can be very useful in learning about LMU. Prospective students are encouraged to meet with a counselor if possible, however, a visit is not a required part of the application process.

If you have additional questions pertaining to our programs or the application process, please send them to our Office of Admission email,, and one of our counselors will respond promptly.
