Congratulations on your acceptance to LMU! We look forward to welcoming you to campus and having you join the Lion family.
Orientation is designed to prepare you for your academic life and introduce you to the array of opportunities available to you as a member of the LMU community. You’ll meet with an advisor and take part in activities that will touch on the challenges and experiences most college students encounter. The goal is to have you walk away from orientation feeling properly equipped to embark on your undergraduate journey and hopefully comfortable enough to call LMU home.
You will also get a head start on meeting some of your classmates, many of whom will be your friends throughout your days at LMU, and some for much longer than that.

Registration for fall courses will occur prior to August Orientation and be done online. Starting in May, first year students will receive information and guidance on the required tasks to prepare for registration and speaking with your advisor. All registration preparation and related activities will be done online and do not require students to visit campus. After completing their preparatory tasks, students will be assigned an advising and registration time slot in June; all registration will occur throughout that month and will be done completely online with the virtual support of your advisor. A computer and internet access are necessary in order to register.
