Congratulations! The college admission process is behind you, summer vacation is in front of you, and your college career is right around the corner.
 
Next fall and the beginning of your first semester may seem like a long time away, but it will be here before you know it. Everyone at LMU wants to make sure you get off to a great start. Student Orientation gets things started, and will provide a smooth transition into college. This is your first official activity as an LMU student.
 
Orientation is designed to prepare you for your academic life at LMU, and to introduce you to your opportunities and responsibilities as a member of the LMU community. You’ll meet faculty, staff, and students in addition to taking part in activities that will touch on a very wide range of the challenges and experiences most college students encounter.  By the time you’ve completed your Orientation, college will seem much more real, and you’ll feel like you are really an LMU student.
 
Your Orientation Leaders will be your guides, and you’ll meet some of your future classmates, many of whom will be your friends throughout your days at LMU, and some for much longer than that.
