Music Majors and Minors Fall/Spring 2019

Auditions are required for admission to the Music Major and Minor and serve as scholarship consideration for any qualified applicant. The Department of Music is devoted primarily to the study of classical music and thus auditions that feature classical music repertoire are strongly preferred. Applicants may attend the live auditions or submit recordings through the LMU portfolio submission process. The Audition Application and Instructions 2018-2019 must be submitted into the LMU portfolio for both live and recorded auditions.

After students submit an application, they will get an email explaining how to check their application status; the Application Status Page includes an upload feature where students can upload a portfolio. LMU currently accepts Images, Videos, and .PDF documents. If you have a text document to submit, please convert the document to a .PDF file before submitting.
