Student talking to professor

We know that going to school in another country is a big move and a big adjustment. That’s why we have created a network of support services designed to make your transition as easy as possible. From making friends to getting your paperwork in order, we are here to help you every step of the way.

International Outreach / Admission

Your first contact with LMU will most likely be with our International Outreach/Admission Office. Every year, we visit schools and student fairs around the world to meet prospective students in person.

We are always happy to answer your questions about LMU or the admission process. Feel free to contact us or join our mailing list for more information.

In addition, OISS hosts a variety of fun events and programs that promote cultural exchange and help you make the most of your LMU experience, including:

  • Social events & mixers
  • International Student Orientation
  • International Graduate Brunch
  • Employment and Post-grad Workshops

Academic Resource Center

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) is a free resource at LMU that provides tutors, study groups, instructors and more. A special division for international students offers peer tutoring, academic workshops, conversation groups, and an English 101 Course that focuses on academic writing for non-native speakers.
