Theatre Arts approach the study of theatre with the view that it is a laboratory for the study of life, allowing us to explore the human experience through performance. With comprehensive coursework and training in acting, directing, design, theatre technology, playwriting, history and criticism taught by supportive faculty, our intimate classes allow for learned techniques to be applied.

The Esports Gaming center, located inside the Burns Recreation Center, is the hub for the Lion gaming community. The gaming space is home to the LMU Esports teams, open to all levels of casual to competitive gamers; they host ongoing programs, events and activities focused on creating a space where Lions can gather for their love of gaming.

Your home. Your voice. Your news. The Los Angeles Loyolan is LMU's student-run news organization, publishing new content online multiple times a week. The Los Angeles Loyolan is a member of the Associated Collegiate Press and the California College Media Association.

Mane Entertainment is a departmental student group that is made up of student managers, assistant managers, and the media and programming team. This motived group of students create and implement large and small scale social events for LMU students. Some events include Monday Open Mic Nights, Celebrity Q&As, Comedy Shows, Late Night Friday events, and much more.

KXLU offers a diverse and eclectic range of free form, commercial free radio to the Los Angeles community and the world via kxlu.com. KXLU broadcasts live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 356 days a year. KXLU offers one of the only opportunities in the Los Angeles radio market for students to gain practical experience in all aspects of radio broadcasting.

Attend the office hours to learn more how we support first year and transfer students, student veterans, former/current foster youth, emancipated minors, homeless and independent students in navigating their experience as a new Lion!

Academic Resource Center

Schedule an appointment with advisors from the Academic Resource Center to learn more about the services available to students regarding course tutoring, university advising, and the writing center.

Disability Support Services

LMU is committed to providing resources and assistance to students with physical, perceptual, learning, ADHD and/or psychological disabilities to achieve their educational goals. Office hours are offered Monday–Thursday from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Pacific Time. If a student is interested in an individual appointment with a DSS staff member, we encourage you to email dsslmu@lmu.edu to schedule a Zoom meeting at a time that is convenient for you. As a reminder, at the post-secondary level students must be the one to self-identify with the DSS office.
