Events
From boba to bentos, LMU events bring people together to celebrate the best of Asian Pacific America. Come out and discover something new, connect with your culture, meet fellow students...and have fun!
Third Tuesdays - Our most popular event! Hang out in the Living Room on the third Tuesday of every month, indulge in free boba, and watch exciting API entertainers perform everything from live music to spoken word and theater.
Power Trips - These empowering field trips engage students in the off-campus API community, taking advantage of the incredible opportunities Los Angeles offers-from visits to Chinatown to world-class museums and entertainment venues.
The Salon - Themed discussions and speakers focus on "engaging Asian Pacific Americans in conversations that matter." Past guests have included actor Justin Chon (of Twilight fame) talking about finding your passion and Audrey magazine columnist Kai Ma discussing dating and relationships.
API Graduation - This intimate celebration honors graduating seniors in the Asian and Pacific Islander American community, recognizing their contributions and accomplishments at LMU while sending them off to be citizens of our global community.
Bentos Beneath the Palms - Taiko drumming, live music, dance, martial arts performances and, of course, bento box lunches are featured in this exciting event designed to engage LMU's intercultural campus community in APA community and culture!
And many more, including:
